Turn of Mind

With not much to do, your mind wanders freely.” Intrigued by a deep connection with nature, Patagonia ambassador Nicholas Wolken spent time in the Swiss mountains with his splitboard, good friends and an open mind. He shares his story in Patagonia's new film: Turn of Mind. Lauren MacCallum isn’t a self-appointed climate activist, but merely a person who loves the mountains and speaks on behalf of nature and her community in the Scottish Highlands. She vows to look people in the eyes and urge conversations about the climate—at Scottish Parliament, with folks in the mountain community and beyond—and advocate for being an ally of healthy, wild places.
Josh Jespersen | What I Fought For
After duty as a Navy SEAL, Josh Jespersen came home and found comfort in long days outside in the mountains. As his connection solidified, so did his understanding of the threats to these landscapes, and his fight became one to protect wild places. His modus operandi is to continue showing up, whether that’s going to rallies, writing or speaking to government, or simply just taking someone outside.
Tacking & Turning - Backcountry Snowboarding In Canada's Jervis Inlet
In May 2018, Jones ambassador Harry Kearney and a crew of friends set sail for a unique backcountry snowboarding adventure. Starting from the coastal city of Bellingham, Washington, the crew loaded up a sail boat with splitboard gear and sailed north into Canada to go explore a wild zone in British Columbia that is only accessible by boat. After two days of sailing, they parked the boat in the Jervis Inlet and hiked up through the BC jungle to explore and ride lines in a steep alpine cirque overlooking the ocean.
